Chad Johnson's highly publicized arrest continues to be detrimental for the former wide receiver. He has already lost his roster spot on the Miami Dolphins, and now he and his wife Evelyn have lost their reality television series "Ev & Ocho" as VH1 pulled the plug on the show completely.

On the same day that he was released by the Dolphins' organization, VH1 added more fuel to the fire by announcing the cancellation of the show.

"Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series Ev & Ocho from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."

Can things get any worse for Chad Johnson?

The Miami Heat are just one of the teams looking to acquire sharpshooter Ray Allen during free agency. Plenty of moves have been made around the NBA already and Pat Riley wants the all-time leader in 3-point field goals made on his roster for next season.

NBA Finals MVP LeBron James also loves the idea of Allen spotting up for him despite battling against his Celtics so many times.

He took to Twitter to retweet a photoshopped image of Ray Allen in a Miami Heat jersey. He included a caption that read "This looks damn good to me".

The Celtics recently acquired Jason Terry from the Dallas Mavericks so Ray Allen signing to another team isn't out of the question.

Check out the image and let us know if you'd like to see Ray Allen as a member of the Miami Heat next season.

Los Angeles Lakers Acquire Steve Nash

NBA veteran point guard Steve Nash was pursued by several teams, including the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. But in an unforeseen turn of events, the two-time league MVP has been acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers in a sign-and-trade deal.

According to sources around the league, Steve Nash's deal will be for around three years and worth up to $25 million. The Lakers were able to pull off the deal due to the trade exception they created when they traded now-Clippers forward Lamar Odom to the Mavericks last season.

How do you feel about the Lakers' new acquisition?
